New Market Maryland with Heather Young By: Heather Young
Historic New Market dates back to the 1700s and was a one day wagon ride from the City of Frederick (then called Fredericktown) on the route to the port of Baltimore.
Today, New Market is a quaint little town with great restaurants, many antique shops and a wonderful general store.

Update: As of June of 2007 I've published six articles on Frederick.com (see all videos below) and there are still some sponsorship banner ads available (see the six ads at the left). Business owners interested in supporting my efforts can e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org and remember all sponsorship fees for my articles go to my education!
