Description: One in four Americans – or 75 million people – are estimated to be suffering from chronic pain. The National Pain Foundation will present a free educational seminar on chronic pain and treatment options on Saturday, Nov. 22 in Chevy Chase, MD.
Reza Ghorbani, MD, ABIPP, FIPP, and Christine Rupprecht, RN, MSN, will lead the seminar and discuss the treatment options that are available for those in chronic pain. Joining the panel of experts are two chronic pain patients: Adam Hammond, a 26-year-old U.S. Army officer, and Alice Saahtoff, an 87-year-old retired philanthropist.
